Biography
Vergette trained at Central St. Martins and has enjoyed numerous public commissions as well as exhibitions, installations and performances. Silent is a two tonne granite bell in the bluebell wood at Roche, and, as the wind passes over the convex end, it gently sounds a note. He is currently working on a Time and Tide Bell, an ambitious project that aims to suspend a huge bell at high tide marks along the coastline.
