Biography
(1952–)
Harrisson, who is based in Wiltshire, carves natural patterns and forms from local stones such as Portland and Purbeck, creating sculptures that sit naturally in the landscape. He is predominantly a carver, working in both stone and wood, referencing the local scenery and geology through his chosen medium. Harrisson had an exhibition at the New Art Centre in 2001, and commissions include Pegasus for Chatsworth House, Sounding for the crypt at Winchester Cathedral and a granite sculpture for Southampton Airport.
