About our Education Programme
Our aim is to use the resource of Roche Court for the benefit of the next generation; to help young people understand and recognise their inheritance. We seek to offer not only an introduction to contemporary sculpture, but also, wherever possible, to link artists and educators and provide a platform for discussion and debate.
Educational Friends of Roche Court
The Educational Friends of Roche Court was launched in 2001. Directly responding to the educational needs of our audience, we offer a wide variety of educational opportunities for both teachers and students.
Our Educational Friends are invited to take part in a programme of artist-led events, teachers private views, pupils workshops, interactive seminars, conversations with artists and illustrated talks which have been led by exhibiting artists such as Edmund de Waal, Gavin Turk, David Nash, Michael Craig-Martin and Richard Long.
Careers seminars are planned periodically to prompt the value of art in education. There is also an annual schools competition designed to foster collaboration between different departments in schools.

School and Group visits
We offer introductory tours of the Sculpture Park and current exhibitions for schools, colleges, universities and other interested groups. Designed to meet the specific needs and interests of individual groups they are appropriate for all ages and level of knowledge. All group visits must be booked in advance and a small charge is made per head.

Adult Groups £5.00 per head

Pupils and students (including Members) £3.00 per head
