Alec Peever is a sculptor and letter carver, working in stone. Alec, with his partner Fiona, engage in a wide variety of work including public installations, plaques and monuments, architectural carving and churchyard memorials.

Alec Peever studied at The City and Guilds School of Art, London. Alec and Fiona Peever's work can be found in many public and private collections, including the National Collection of British Craft.

Peever’s recent notable commissions include a commemorative sculpture at The Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford in 2020, the building title stone and architectural lettering for the new Rotunda at St Catherine’s College, Oxford University in 2021, and a commemorative plaque to William Byrd at Lincoln Cathedral in 2023. His work was featured in The Ironstone Prize exhibition at Banbury Museum in 2020 and Sculpture in the Landscape at Friends of the Garden, Wiltshire in 2020.
