All those here much enjoyed ‘Joyful Noise: Phyllida Barlow – rethinking sculpture’ at Salisbury Cathedral last night. Jo Baring, who has just released a new book ‘Totem: The Untold Story of Sculpture’, led the discussion between Barlow’s husband the artist Fabian Peake and Olivia Bax. Bax had a solo exhibition here in Autumn 2024 and her new exhibition ‘Double Take’ opens September 26th at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
