Piero Inspirations is a beautiful hardback book, comparing Jaray's small paintings with the frescoes of fifteenth-century painter Piero della Francesca, which inspired these works. With essays by the art historian Roberto Longhi; this book builds bridges of conversation between contemporary abstract painting, and the biblical Early Renaissance art of Italy. Jaray has exhibited twice at Roche Court, in 2018, In the Gallery featured her work alongside the art of Barbara Hepworth, Phyllida Barlow and William Turnbull. Her solo exhibition, Tess Jaray: From Piero and other paintings, was held in 2021.
Roche Plates are special, limited edition dining plates designed by artists who have a long-standing relationship with the New Art Centre. Beautiful and functional, all editions of the Roche plates are made in Stoke-on-Trent, are composed of fine bone china and are dishwasher safe.
A proportion of all proceeds from the sale of Roche Plates is donated to the Roche Court Educational Trust.
In celebration of Justine Randall's The Night's Sky Tapestries Exhibition, which is now open to the public in The Gallery, the New Art Centre is selling her book: Justine Randall: Tapestry. All of the tapestries on exhibition are featured in this publication, as well as details of her Wiltshire Landscape Tapestries, which comprise the colours found in the Wiltshire landscape through each season.
Spirit of Trees is a graceful composition of charcoal drawings by the artist John Hubbard, created over a period of 25 years. Prefaced with an essay by the writer and curator Andrew Lambirth, this book was published to coincide with the exhibition 'Spirit of Trees: Charcoal Drawings 1980-2005 by John Hubbard' held at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in 2006.
